On 2017, ROADIS became the reference partner of the Real Madrid Foundation in India. The multinational signed an agreement through which it extended its support to the Foundation for the development of various social sports projects in India. This Corporate Responsibility milestone is one more example of ROADIS´ commitment to the country and its willingness to keep growing in this region. ROADIS, Real Madrid Foundation and IIMC (Indian Institute for Mother and Child)

The mission of this project is to promote ethical values and social integration among children from 5 to 17 years old, regardless of their abilities or sports skills, and always ensuring the inclusion of the most disadvantaged. This collaboration agreement was signed in 2016 for a duration of 4 years.
The Kheadah Social Sports School was funded on April 2011. It is located in a rural area in the south of Calcutta and has the IIMC as local partner. The school takes in 173 kids and gives them the opportunity to participate in soccer training after school.

On January 17, 2017, Nithya Appakudal, our Asia SBU Head, visited this school accompanied by Alvaro Santos, our Asia Financial Director; José Muriana, the director of the Indian Institute of Mother and Child (IIMC); Dr. Sujit Brahmochary, the founder and director of the IIMC; and Rosa Roncal, the director of the International Area of the FRM. During the visit to the school, the attendees visited the soccer field and met the school coaches, who held a training session with the kids with the collaboration of Ignacio Abascal, soccer coach of the international area of the FRM. Afterwards, they joined the children for a snack.

ROADIS, Real Madrid Foundation and Hope and Joy Foundation

This project started on June 1st, 2017 and since then, has been running successfully with 3 weekly training sessions with 3 coaches. The goal is to have a positive impact, through the practice of sports, on the academic training, health and family environment of the children. The beneficiaries are 60 girls and boys aged between 5 and 18, 68% of whom have a low socio-economic status.

ROADIS collects 151 kilos of food for the Food Bank in Madrid

ROADIS employees in Madrid collaborated with this food aid campaign by donating more than 150 kilos of food and supplies.

ROADIS donates computer equipment to the Casa Cuna Project

A team from ROADIS visited the facilities of the “Casa Cuna” project in El Escorial to deliver computer equipment and become acquainted with the work of the institution. This donation was made in cooperation with the Heal the World for Children association, presided by Laura Serrano, which aims to facilitate the education and personal and academic development of the children at this foster home.

ROADIS supports sustainable mobility

By promoting cycling as a way of getting to work and offering a bicycle spaces in the secure car park at the headquarters in Madrid.
